Go Confidently In The Direction Of Your Dreams ~ Henry David Thoreau

4 years ago, I took a leap of faith and quit my job to pursue what I had been yearning to do full time. I left a decent salary, insurance and the comfort of a paycheck every 2 weeks. This is something I conteplated on for a while because of fear!!! Fear of the unknown. Going on faith, determination and a BIG push from my amazing husband, I did it! Starting out on your own takes guts and passion for your craft.

Pursuing my passion has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. It's hard work, endless hours, a few tears but a lot more smiles. Listen to your heart and put your best effort into it. You will never know if you can if you dont try. 4 years later, I manage 3 companies, teach a series of design workshops and published my first book last year. All of this comes with some challenges of course. In my upcomimg blogs, I will be sharing some of these challenges and some WTF moments.

My hope is that today's blog gets you one step closer to pursuing those goals and dreams you may be hesitant to pursue. DIVE IN!

I leave you with some of my favorite quotes.

Until next time.
