MY TOP 7 LIFE LESSONS
I know its been a while. I haven't had the motivation to write for a few weeks.. but I am getting back to it. Today, I am sharing some of my top life lessons so far.
You can't make everyone happy:
"You can't make everyone happy, you are not pizza". Hilarious but true :-). I came across this quote a while back and giggled. If you spend your whole life trying to please everyone, you will never enjoy your life.
Take More Risks:
I have learned that comfort can be crippling. In order to live, you need to take risks. Big or small, you need to take risks. Life is too short. Don't be afraid to pursue your passion or explore the world, travel, set goals for yourself, see it through and have fun doing it. TAKE RISKS!!!
You find out who your friends are in key moments in your life:
There are times in your life like marriage or death of a loved one, that the true characteristics of those you call friends surface. Keep your eyes open.
You can't control everything:
There are some things simply beyond our control no matter how hard we try. Life is funny that way. Sometimes, you have to let go.
Cherish those that you love, you never know if you’ll see them again:
Make time for friends, your significant other, and your family. You never know when you may lose someone close to you. Nothing in life is guaranteed. Make the best of it.
It's ok to fail:
Failure is proof that you tried. Keep trying and don't give up. I find these quotes about failure so inspiring. When you feel like giving up, let these quotes inspire you to try again and again and again.
“ Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.” - Winston Churchill.
"Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently," - Henry Ford
"Failure is the key to success; each mistake teaches us something". - Morihei Ueshiba
"Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up". - Thomas A. Edison
Be your own MAGIC:
Be your own magic my darling. STOP waiting on approval from everyone to be the star that you are. You don't need permission from anyone to shine. Allow yourself to be great. Stop comparing yourself to others and just be YOU!!!
Have a fantastic week.
