Own Your Confidence

Own Your Confidence

Own Your Confidence

Self love is the best love!!!

I am getting a little personal on this post. We struggle daily with our own thoughts and sometimes, the opinions of others. We are human and we allow these thoughts and opinions to overshadow the beauty and greatness inside of us. We look more on what we fall short of and fail to celebrate our successes. We have to own our confidence.

Every now and then, we are going to hear or read something that rubs us the wrong way. I was reminded recently that the most important opinion of yourself is YOURS! Sometimes people will say things to make you feel small and insecure and you have to remind yourself that people’s negative words have no power unless you allow it. Their negativity is their burden to bear not yours.

I am going to leave you with some of my favorite quotes and I hope this speaks to someone out there as strongly as it spoke to me recently.

Do the world a favor and take a moment to compliment someone today. Have a great Friday friends.

“Why should we worry about what others think of us, do we have more confidence in their opinions than we do our own?”– Brigham Young

“Don’t rely on someone else for your happiness and self-worth. Only you can be responsible for that. If you can’t love and respect yourself – no one else will be able to make that happen. Accept who you are – completely; the good and the bad – and make changes as YOU see fit – not because you think someone else wants you to be different.” – Stacey Charter

“You have been criticizing yourself for years, and it hasn’t worked. Try approving of yourself and see what happens.” – Louise L. Hay

“No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.”– Eleanor Roosevelt
